WaffleGrip® Trendelenburg Positioner

Technology Integration That Optimizes Surgical Efficiency and Safety for Trendelenburg Position

Combines Warming with Securement for Optimal Patient Outcomes.

The thin, single use WaffleGrip anti-slip surface allows for up to 3.5x more underbody warming with the reusable HotDog Warming Mattress U300. Even at angles up to 40°, patients will remain warm and secure.

WaffleGrip Trendelenburg Securement System

The A301 WaffleGrip Positioning System + BackSaver Slide Sheet includes 10 disposable WaffleGrip Kits: 1 WaffleGrip pad with perineal drape, 1 BackSaver Slide Sheet, 1 non-woven draw sheet with WaffleGrip and a disposable strap.

WaffleGrip + Underbody Mattress

Reduce Hypothermic Patients in Trendelenburg Position.

The A300 WaffleGrip fits securely over the U300 Underbody Mattress, creating an anti-slip surface over the entire contact area. The unique waffle pattern evenly disperse grip on the patient, decreasing localized shearing forces, while increasing mechanical hold and friction. The design allows for optimal heat transfer from mattress to patient.

BackSaver Slide Sheet

Save Your Back When Moving Heavy Patients in Trendelenburg Position

The BackSaver Slide Sheet creates a frictionless surface over the anti-slip WaffleGrip pad. This allows you to slide heavier patients with ease before tilting them into position, saving you from a strained back. After positioning, the BackSaver tears down the middle for easy removal.

Why Use WaffleGrip for Trendelenburg Securement?

BetterWarming

Better Warming

Hypothermia is common during Trendelenburg positioning due to the minimal surface area available to warm. Not anymore! Increase warming surface area by 3.5x.
Improve Securement

Improve Securement

AORN guidelines recommend friction-based solutions for Steep T securement to prevent the risk of brachial plexus injury. WaffleGrip’s anti-slip technology is suitable for high-BMI patients.
Efficient & Convenient

Efficient & Convenient

The integrated slide sheet allows effortless positioning to improve staff safety, and the perineal drape helps manage fluids…all while the patient remains Warm & Secure.
